You may want to check your Securus account balance online, but you do not know where it is located. Actually, to check it is easy since you are able to check it on your account.
As explained on the Securus website, you are able to find your account balance on the landing page after you log into the online account. In the Advance Connect account, you are able to see that the location of the balance is after the phone number and account number where it says Available Funds as you are able to see in the picture below.
Same as in AdvanceConnect account, the location of balance in Direct Bill account is also after phone number and account number where it says Account Balance as you are able to see at the picture below.
The Difference Between AdvanceConnect Account and Direct Bill Account
AdvanceConnect and Direct Bill are two accounts that are offered by Securus where these accounts have different features. AdvanceConnect is a prepaid calling account where all calls will connect to all phone types such as cell phones, landline phones, and Internet phones (such as VoIP carriers) pending facility restrictions. With this account, you are permitted to add some phone numbers to your account. It means that you are able to be reached wherever you are.

How about Direct Bill? This is an account that permits you to be able to receive collect calls from an inmate. With this account, you will have the charges billed directly to you every month. Actually, this account is suitable for you if the inmate is incarcerated for more than 3 years. This account is also suitable for consulates, an attorney, bail bondsman, social worker, other small business, or government agencies. If you choose this account, you also need to pay your bill on or before the due date. If you do not pay the bill on time, Securus will block your line and your Direct Bill account will be changed into a Family & Friends AdvanceConnect account automatically.
