Since the “Jail Roster” feature can be found on the official website of Pierce County, Washington, you can simply access it here. Once you’re at the page of Pierce County Jail, you can click the “Jail Roster” link, which is in the list of important links.
By clicking on it, the new page will bring up the list of inmates who are currently housed in Pierce County Jail. In each inmate list, there is information about where the inmate is being held: either in Main Jail, New Jail, Remann Jail, or not in custody.
In addition, the Pierce County Jail roster also contains the individuals who were released from custody in the last 48 hours. However, it does not include the inmates who are at Western State Hospital or are part of any alternative custody program.
If you want to see more information about an inmate in detail, you can click on the inmate’s booking ID link. And the next page will show the following information about an inmate:
- Inmate’s full name
- Booking date
- Future release date and time
- Race
- Ethnicity
- Gender
- Arresting agency
- Charges include charging agency, jurisdiction cause, court date, sentence date/bail, sentence fine, etc.
About Pierce County Jail, Washington
Pierce County Jail is located at 910 Tacoma Ave. S., Tacoma, Washington 98402. It serves as a direct supervision jail for individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or sentencing. It houses approximately 1700 inmates and employs around 300 correctional staff.
Just like most correctional facilities in the United States, Pierce County Jail provides a variety of programs and services for inmates, such as mental and medical health care, educational opportunities, religious services, and visitation.
In addition, Pierce County Jail also provides video visitation that allows inmates and their families to stay connected through video calls. The family that wants to make a video visitation should first add funds to the inmate’s account. After that, they need to make a schedule for when the video visits may be held.
