Rules:

  • You must be pre-approved to make a visit. Feel free to fill out the online application at https://www.norfolksheriff.com/content/6-visitor-information/2-visitorforms/483bpreapproval-202102.pdf or send the application to visit via email to visits@norfolksheriffma.org.
  • Come 15 minutes before a visit to the site.
  • Wear a mask during the visit.
  • Do not wear shorts, mini skirts, tank tops, tight or see-thru clothing, hats, or sweatshirts that have hoods, flip flops, stilettos, or open-toed shoes.
  • Do not bring food or drink.
  • Do not bring additional electronic devices, including cell phones or Apple watches.
  • Follow a medical screening that includes a series of questions and having the temperature checked.
  • There is a possibility of children under 18 visiting offenders on weekends. To be allowed to make a visit, a child must come with a parent or a legal guardian. Besides, they also have to show a birth certificate at the time of the visit. In case someone who can accompany them is not a parent or a legal guardian, they can still make a visit as long as they fill a Minor Visit Consent form, show a birth certificate or copy, and bring a notarized letter that states the child has the permission of the parent or the guardian to make a visit.
