Making a Deposit Through JailATM
Here are the steps to take if you want to deposit money for an inmate through the JailATM.
- First, you need to sign in to your JailATM account.
- And then, after you sign in, choose the Send Money Now option.
- The state and facility must be chosen.
- And then, you are required to enter at least 3 characters of the inmate’s last name or their ID.
- In this step, you need to enter your payment information and the amount of the deposit. And then, the check box must be clicked if you have read the terms and conditions. The OK button now should be clicked.
- You have to click on the Send Money button but before doing it, you have to review the payment details first.
It is important for you to note that there is a deposit limit where the inmate can only be deposited $300.00 per week. It is done to make the JailATM to obey the Anti-Money Laundering Act and also to prevent other forms of fraud. However, this deposit limit may be different from one facility to another.
Checking the Deposit and Charge History
To know the deposit and charge history, it can be done through the JailATM account. First, you are required to sign in to the JailATM account. Then, you need to choose the My Account option that you are able to find in the top right corner of the screen. And then, you have to choose the Deposit/ Charge History option. And then, you will be shown the deposit and charge history where the details include the date, the name of the resident, type of transaction, status, amount and total. In the deposit and charge history, you are able to see the list of transactions that you have made for the resident and it includes deposits into their commissary account and commissary orders.
