- The first thing that you have to do to upload a photo on GettingOut is to log into your GettingOut account.
- After logging in, then you need to click on the Photos tab.
- There will be some options and the thing that you have to choose is the “Take New Photo” option or the “Upload New Photo” option. For your information, if you do not have enough funds, you will be altered.
- And now, you are able to take a photo with your webcam. If not, you are able to choose a photo from your computer and it is done by clicking the “Choose File” button.
- In this step, you have to give a title in your photo and then you need to choose a gallery or you are able to create a gallery for your photo.
- After that, the Share Photo button needs to be clicked.

As explained earlier, after you share a photo on GettingOut, the photo will not be shared directly, but you will have to wait for the photo to be approved first. So, how do we know that the photo has been approved? To see the status of the photo, you can see it under the photo, within the ‘chat view’. If the status says ‘Approved’, it means that the photo has been accepted by the facility and the photo is available to be seen by your contacts that you chose.
