Tablet is one of the services which are offered by JPay. With this device, inmates can stay connected with their family and friends and also they are able to enjoy education and betterment courses to prepare them for success after they are incarcerated. Now, the question is, how to unlock the JPay 6 tablet?
I tried to find the information about unlocking the JPay 6 tablet, but it seems that there is no information specifically about unlocking the JPay 6 tablet. However, on the Just Answer site, there is a question about how to unlock a JPay tablet. She/he followed the steps on the thread but it did not work and it is still keeping him/her locked out saying sync. Then another user named TauseefZ who is an Android Device expert said that he/she must reset the tablet by powering off the tablet. Press and hold Volume up and Power button at the same time until the tablet is booted into the Android system recovery. Then, choose wipe data/ factory reset with the volume keys and press the power button to confirm. However, he/she said that after this process is done, she/he still cannot access the tablet.
Well, it does not mean that I recommend you to do what he orders as you can read above. I think the best thing that you can do to unlock the JPay 6 tablet is to contact the customer service of JPay and ask how to unlock it.
Another thing that I found when I tried to find the information about unlocking the JPay 6 tablet is a YouTube video entitled How To Unlock, Hack, A JP5 and JP6 (872) 248-1348 which was uploaded on November 26th, 2021 and has been watched more than 6k times.
So, what should we do to unlock the JPay 6 tablet? Since I could not find clear information about unlocking the JPay 6 tablet, it is better for you to contact the customer service of JPay. You are able to contact the customer service at (800) 574-JPAY (5729). Alternatively, you can also send an email through the JPay website and tell the issue that you find related to your JPay 6 tablet. If it is possible, the inmate can ask the correctional facility staff who knows that they know how to unlock it.
