What to Do in the Inmate Locator
When you are in the inmate locator page of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department site, you will see two fields including Last Name and First Name. So, the thing that you have to do is to fill in the fields with the first name and the last name of the inmate. It is important for you to note that when you fill in each field, you have to enter at least two characters.
After you fill in the last name and the first name of the inmate, then you have to hit the Lookup button. After hitting the Lookup button, you will be directed to another page where you have to enter the letters shown in the image. When you enter the letters, make sure that you only enter the letters without numbers. And then, if you have entered the letters, select on the Continue button. Besides, it also loads the information about the housing location including the facility, address, area or housing unit, city, arrest agency, date booked, time booked, inmate bail status, release and case or charge information.
