How to Add Contacts on JPay

JPay allows you to add more than one incarcerated individual to your contacts. If someone that is close to you just entered a jail, a prison, or a detention center and you want to add this person to your JPay account, you can follow the following instructions:

1. 1. The first thing that you have to do is to click on the 3 dots to open Settings. If you have no idea where it is located, it is in the upper right hand corner.
   2. When Settings open, click on Contacts.
   3. The next thing that you have to do is to click on the plus icon. As for this icon, it is located at the bottom of the screen.
   4. After clicking on the plus icon, enter the state.
   5. Aside from the state, you should also enter an inmate ID number.
   6. Make sure to also confirm your new contact.
   7. The last thing that you have to do is to hit Save.

Talking about adding contacts on JPay, you may also want to know how to add a phone number. To be able to do it, make sure to follow the guide below:

1. 1. First of all, you should go to the JPay homepage.
   2. When you are there, click My Account on the Navigation menu.
   3. After clicking on it, click Add Phone Number on the My Account menu.
   4. Then, enter a new phone number in the Enter Phone Number field.
   5. In the next step, click Add.
   6. After doing so, you will be asked by the system if you want to check if this number is registered with the phone provider. Upon getting asked, just click No.
   7. Just like that the phone number will be added to the Existing Phone Numbers list.
