An inmate in prison lives in restrictions. However, it does not mean that they are not able to be contacted by their family and friends at all. Inmates who are incarcerated at Clark County Detention Center (CCDC) can be contacted by several ways that can be explained below.
Contacting Inmates by Phone
As explained on the website of Clark County Nevada, inmates are prohibited to receive phone calls. However, if there is something that is very important or we can say that it is an emergency, family or friends are able to contact The Clark County Detention Center at (702) 671-3900.
Clark County Detention Center also has a way for an inmate who wants to contact their family or friends, namely by phone which is operated by Securus Telecommunications. If inmates want to use it the family or friends need to have an Advance Connect account. What is it? It is a prepaid calling account that permits family and friends to receive prepaid calls from inmates. The charges are deducted from their prepaid account automatically.
There is also a Debit account. With it, inmates have the ability to call anyone. To be able to use Debit account or Advance Connect account features, the inmate’s family or friends need to set up and add money to these accounts. It is done by visiting www.securustech.net/contact-us or calling Securus at 1-800-844-6591.
Contacting Inmates by Mail
You are able to contact an inmate at Clark County Detention Center by mail. Letters and photos can be sent to an inmate at CCDC and you are able to send them to the Clark County Detention Center at:
Inmate Name – Inmate ID Number

When you send a mail, make sure that you do not send any illegal things because all non-legal (social) mail will be opened and screened for contraband. If there is an item that cannot be sent to an inmate, the staff of CCDC can return it to the sender. Another thing that you need to note is that if you want to send cash money, it is recommended not to send it by mail.
