About JPay Homepage Navigation Menu

Is it your first time to access JPay? If so, and you want to use this website to be able to communicate with your incarcerated one, it means that you need to know about the homepage navigation menu on that site so that you are able to know the function of each menu.

First, let me tell you that according to the HubSpot site, the navigation menu is an organized list of links to other web pages, usually internal pages and most commonly they appear in page headers or sidebars across a website and it permits visitors to quickly access the most useful pages.

About JPay Homepage Navigation Menu

If you access the JPay website, there is a line of menus at the top of the website including Inmate Search, Prison Search, Help and System Status. Besides, there are also social media icons such as Twitter and Facebook in the left of these menus and also a Login button at the right side of these menus.

Inmate Search

If you click on the Inmate Search, you will be brought to a page where you are able to login by entering your email address and password and then hit the Login button. On that page, you are also able to search an inmate by choosing a state and entering the inmate ID and then hitting the Find button.

Prison Search

If you access the Prison Search page, you will be brought to a page where you can check the availability and pricing of JPay services in certain prisons or facilities.

Help

If you click on the Help menu, a pop-up window will appear and on that window, there are a lot of questions and answers and also guides about JPay services that can help users.

System Status

If you click on this menu, you will be taken to a page where it informs you whether the system is online or not. When I tried to access it, it says, “All Systems Online” with a green circle on the left of this sentence.

If you click on the Twitter icon, you will be brought to the JPay Twitter account and if you click on the Facebook icon, you will be brought to the JPay Facebook account. How about the Login button? If you click on that, you will be taken to a page where you can enter your email address and password for logging in.

On the left side of the site, there is an inmate search section where you can enter the state and inmate ID. If you scroll down to the bottom of the JPay homepage, there are a number of menus or links as you can see below.

    It will take you to a page of the explanation about JPay.

    It will take you to the inmate search page.
  • Prison Search
    It will take you to the availability and pricing page where you can check the availability and pricing of Jpay services in each prison.
  • Partner Agency
    It takes you to a page where there is the explanation about agency partnerships of JPay and also a link to the Agency Contact form.
  • Contact Us
    It takes you to a page where you can find the information about JPay customer support, mailing address, emailing JPay, contact sales, and press inquiries.
  • Help
    If you click on it, there will be a pop-up window where it contains FAQs and guides about JPay.

    It takes you to a page where you can read about JPay money transfer.

Inmate Services

  • Email & VideoGram
    If you click it, it will take you to a page about the explanation about Email and VideoGram and also links for using them.
  • Education
    It will take you to a page about information about education services offered by JPay like JPay’s Lantern, KA Lite, eBooks, and educational games.
  • JPay Tablets
    It takes you to a page containing information about JPay Tablets.
  • JPay Video Connect
    It takes you to a page containing information about JPay video connect and also the link to use these features.

    If you access one of the menus above whether Restitution, Supervision Fees, Court Fees, or Self-Report Fees, you will get the information about making a payment such as paying court fees or self-report fees, making restitution, or making other supervision payments.

    If you access this menu, you will be taken to the Release Cards page about JPay Progress Prepaid Mastercard.
