About State Farm Enterprise Unit
Located in State Farm, in Powhatan County of Virginia, State Farm Enterprise Unit is a prison work camp which opened in 2008 and is operated by the Virginia Department of Corrections and the Virginia Correctional Enterprises. It has a maximum capacity of around 450 inmates with a mixture resistance level. Same with most facilities, State Farm Enterprise Unit also equips the inmates with work skills needed to return to the community. Based on the research, there are more than 50 inmates who are employed at the State Farm Offset Printing Facility.

Visiting Hours and Rules
As a family member or friend of the inmates, you can visit your incarcerated loved one on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. For the hours of visitation, you need to ask the facility because the visiting schedule at State Farm Enterprise Unit is carried out on a rotational basis. Also, before visit, you must apply for visitation to the Virginia Department of Corrections. Simply, you can apply for visitation online. After the Virginia Department of Corrections processes your application, then you will get an email stating that your application is approved or rejected.
You must bring a valid identity such as Passport, Military ID, Driver’s License, or a picture ID issued by a federal. Then, you will undergo a thorough examination using electronic scanning and detection devices. To take into the visiting room, you are only allowed to take items such as a visitor’s pass, DOC locker key, $20.00 in coins, and items for infant feeding. You are not allowed to bring cash money, lottery tickets, food, checks, or money orders. Of course, you also are prohibited to bring your cell phone.
