Talking about sending pictures to inmates, one of the things that people want to know is whether sending bathing suit pictures is allowed. So, is it fine if you want to send bathing suit pictures to the inmates?

Unfortunately, sending bathing suit pictures to inmates is usually not allowed. This kind of thing is considered as nudity or sexually explicit, which is not prohibited by most, if not all, facilities.  If you want the pictures to be approved by the facility, you have to make sure that all subjects are fully covered by cloth with no cleavage. Besides, you should also assure that the pose of the subject is not sexually suggestive.

One of the facilities that don’t allow sending bathing suit pictures is Los Angeles County Jail. This one has very strict rules. Due to the very strict guidelines and regulations, they have even created a separate page that outlines their photos policies.

According to the official website of Los Angeles County Jail, sexually explicit or suggestive photos are not allowed. Nudity, partial nudity, undergarments are prohibited. In addition, cleavage is also a no. As the rule says no to bathing suit pictures as they are considered as nudity, please follow it if you want to send pictures to someone who is currently at Los Angeles County Jail.

Actually, sexually explicit or suggestive photos are not the only things that are not allowed by Los Angeles County Jail. In addition, they also don’t allow some other things, such as photo collages; ultrasound photos with personal information visible; photos of Santa Muerte; altered photos including the use of emojis; photos with generic hand gestures; photos with solo males; photos of identification cards, driver licenses, and so on; screenshots of social media photos or the use of filters; gang related photos; photos of undressed or partially dressed children; photos of license plates, addressed, or street signs; photos of alcohol, drugs, or firearms; photos of inmates; and photos with money.

From the information above, it can be concluded that there are also some facilities that allow nudity or anything that could be considered sexually explicit photos. However, the number is very low. Before deciding to send bathing suit pictures to the inmates, it is better for you to visit the official website of the facility where your loved one is to verify individual rules and regulations. If you are allowed to send bathing suit pictures to inmates, then go on. However, if it says no, then do not ever try because there is no way for your loved one to receive the pictures as they will not pass the inspection. In the worst cases, you might get banned by the facility if you are an airhead who keeps trying to send such pictures even after getting rejected by them.
