Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA) offers affordable continuing education and training traditionally and generally associated with the work of forensic science laboratories. This training institute provides scientific and foundational information for investigations and the courts.

PFSA Departments

The Punjab Forensic Science Agency provides six departments, including:

PFSA Test Instructions

The following are the instructions you should follow for the PFSA test:

  1. The provincial quotas apply to the below-mentioned posts: @15% for women, 5% for minorities, and 3% for persons with disabilities.
  2. General age relaxation applies within the maximum or upper age limit as per the prevailing government policy in Punjab.
  3. Recruitment should be made as per the provisions of the Contract Appointment Policy, 2004 of the Government of the Punjab.
  4. Candidates with forensic knowledge will be given preference.
  5. The monthly salary for the position of Junior Forensic Scientist (Crime and Death Scene Investigation) should be up to PKR 32,000 (fixed) per month (including all allowances, etc.) during the training period and up to PKR 64,000 (fixed) per month (including all allowances, etc.) upon successful completion of training.
  6. The selected candidates for the post of Junior Forensic Scientist (Crime and Death Scene Investigation) should provide a security deposit of PKR 2 million with two (2) guarantees to serve in the agency for two (2) years upon completion of training.
  7. The number of posts for each category of post can be increased or decreased by the Competent Authority at any stage.
  8. If a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, he or she should submit a separate application form for each post.
  9. Candidates are able to download the application form from the National Testing Service (NTS) website (www.nts.org.pk), along with the deposit slip of Rs. 750/-.
  10. Candidates should submit the properly completed Application Form, along with the prescription fee deposit slip for the National Testing Service, a copy of their CNIC, and two recent passport-size photographs, directly to the NTS through courier at the address mentioned on the Application Form.
  11. The test fee must be paid in any branch of HBL, UBL, MCB, or ABL using the bank challan attached to the application form downloaded from the NTS website.
  12. If you submit incomplete and incorrect information, it should be summarily rejected. Only candidates who have completed the degree required for the specific post can apply. Candidates who do not yet hold final transcripts will not be considered.
  13. Roll No. Slips should be separately dispatched directly to the candidate by NTS at least one week before the test.
  14. The deadline for submitting applications to NTS is December 7, 2015.
  15. The date of the written test would be communicated to the eligible and shortlisted candidates only through the NTS website.
  16. Candidates with a NTS test score of at least 65% will be considered for further consideration in the recruitment process.
  17. Candidates should provide original documents, along with a set of attested copies of all the relevant documents, at the date and time of the interview to be intimidated by the Punjab Forensic Science Agency.
  18. TA/DA will be accepted for tests and interviews.
